It ain't no fun by yourself

Hi everyone,

There's been a couple of submissions to our character contest on ANA but I was hoping for a flood of submissions. If you have time, just jump on over to our forums at [link] and partake of the contest.

As mentioned in the contest post, you keep the rights to the character, depending on the amount of submissions and participants we will either have everyone vote for their favorite or Adrian, Anthony and myself will choose. Then you get a free, FREE signed drawing of your character from either Anthony or myself and you get to keep all the rights to your character, of course.

Thought I'd give a little post on the comings and goings of ANA Comics.  From the sruface, we may appear to be fairly stationary, but what you don't see, what you cant see yet, is underneath the surface.

We are boiling underneath.  Come September, be on the look out for 2 new webcomics.  We will also be releasing a sketchbook in Time for Fallcon in Minnesota that will also be available online.  My Harijan Mini-series that was previously self-published will be collected and rereleased in a deluxe edition graphic novel available for purchase near the end of the year.  Plus, many, many more things that I am not allowed to talk about under penalty of physical harm.  

Also, wander on over to our forums and dig into the discussions.  We are offering writing studio workshops as well as artwork critiques and the ability to discuss anything comic related, or not, as long as it remains above the tasteful line.

Hi everyone,

This is Nicholas P. Myers.  The N in the ANA sandwich.  This is my first attempt at a Deviant Art page and I'm trying to make it so you'll be able to see what type of work we're gearing up to do.

We're a brand new baby company with that new company smell still on us.  I'm hoping we can make a big splash and we'll need a lot of you to help us out with that.  

Between myself, Anthony (anmph), and Adrian, I think we have a great mix of personalities and talent to truly make this work.  Look for more uploaded artwork in the near future.  (Especially now that I've gotten over my DA fear and know how to use the site now.)
